Mighty Networks vs EzyCommunity: Which Community Platform Wins in 2026?

When you look at any community platform comparison, most of them end with "it depends." This one won't.

Mighty Networks and EzyCommunity both allow you to run a paid community, host courses, manage memberships, and keep your members in one place.

The difference is how they charge as your revenue grows, how much of the platform you can brand as your own, and how many separate tools you need to run alongside them.

I compared both platforms across twelve feature areas, did the pricing math at five revenue levels, and looked at what current users are saying in 2026. By the end, you'll know which platform fits your use case and which one costs you more as you scale.

Mighty Networks is a mature community platform with courses, events, memberships, messaging, spaces, mobile apps, automation, and a large ecosystem.

EzyCommunity is new, but it has the all-in-one strategy: community, courses, events, meetings, memberships, payments, website building, email marketing, and branded apps. The SaaS agency model is also great for starting your own Skool or Circle like community business.

Disclaimer: This comparison guide is written after doing in-depth research and testing to provide real and helpful insights. I’ll keep on changing the information as the features or prices change in the future.

Switch To a Better Mighty Networks Alternative

Why Are Community Owners Looking for Mighty Networks Alternatives?

When I look at the reasons buyers start considering alternatives, the pattern is less about the existence of a community feed and more about what happens around it. Pricing, transaction fees, plan gates, customization, onboarding, support, event capacity, website needs, marketing, and administration all become more important as the community turns into a business.

Mighty Networks handles the core community job well. The pressure appears when a buyer wants the platform to do more of the business around the community without moving to higher plans or additional tools. That is why I would compare the platforms not only on features, but on the operational consequences of those features.

EzyCommunity is especially relevant here because its current plans combine community, courses, events, meetings, website building, custom domains, white-label branding, gamification, marketing email allowances, and 0% platform transaction fees.

What is Mighty Networks?

mighty feed.png

Mighty Networks is one of the original community-first platforms, founded in 2017. It is built around the premise that a branded space should be the central home for an audience, a course, or a membership.

Its current standard plans (Launch at $95/month, Scale at $215/month, and Pro) cover community spaces, courses, events, live streaming, direct messaging, memberships, and automations. The Pro plan adds advanced automations, priority support, and the lowest standard transaction fee at 0.5%. Fully branded native apps require Mighty Pro, which is custom-quoted.

The platform has an integration ecosystem including Kit, Zapier, and Zoom. Most importantly, it holds a documented track record of large, active communities built on its infrastructure over several years.

What Is EzyCommunity?

Screenshot 2026-08-03 151514.png

EzyCommunity is a newer community platform built around the idea that a community business often needs more than discussion spaces.

Its current plans combine community, courses, chat, events, meetings, gamification, website building, custom domains, white-label branding, marketing emails, and payments. Pro is listed at $97/month and Business at $229/month.

EzyCommunity also offers lifetime plans for buyers who prefer a one-time payment: Pro at $2,190 and Business at $4,990, with interest-free installments available on both. There is no equivalent option on Mighty Networks.

What impressed me is the way the product connects the community to the business around it. Instead of treating the community as a standalone destination, the platform positions it as the place where members can access content, attend events, join meetings, buy products or memberships, and interact with the brand.

EzyCommunity also has a SaaS Partner model for agencies that want to resell the platform, which expands the proposition beyond running one community.

How Mighty Networks & EzyCommunity Charge As You Scale?

Starting price is only one part of the cost. To make the economics specific, I modeled monthly platform cost at five revenue stages. The calculation uses monthly-billing prices, assumes the community collects all stated revenue through the platform, and includes Mighty Networks' published platform transaction fee.

It does not include Stripe, card, tax, app-store, third-party, or optional add-on fees. For EzyCommunity, I use Pro while its 10-course limit is sufficient and Business for a larger operation where unlimited courses and higher capacity are more likely to matter.

scale pricing calculator.png

Note: This is an illustrative platform-cost scenario based on monthly revenue.

Plan selection depends on requirements. A Mighty customer can remain on Launch if its feature set and capacity are sufficient, while an EzyCommunity customer may need Business for unlimited courses, higher meeting capacity, or higher marketing-email volume.

On the other hand, if a Mighty customer needs Scale, a branded app, additional capacity, or paid-event functionality, the real cost rises further.

The model therefore illustrates the effect of platform fees and plan structure rather than claiming that every buyer will pay exactly these amounts.

Mighty Networks vs EzyCommunity: In-depth Feature Comparison

1. Pricing

Mighty Networks' Launch plan is $95/mo, Scale plan is $215/mo, and Pro plan is custom quoted. Its platform fee is 2% on Launch, 1% on Scale, and 0.5% on Pro.

mighty pricing.png

EzyCommunity's Pro plan is $97/month, and Business is $229/month. It currently advertises 0% platform transaction fees on every plan.

The difference is that Mighty combines a subscription with a percentage-based platform fee, while EzyCommunity offers unlimited features and 0 transactional fees.

2. Community features

Mighty’s community features are impressive. Spaces, feed, posts, articles, hashtags, chat, direct messaging, polls, and events are all included in the Launch plan.

EzyCommunity also provides the core community features, including channels, posts, polls, chat, members, reactions, and engagement tools. It also has gamification, leaderboards, and gated access control.

Winner: Tie.

3. Course creation

Mighty supports course creation and video lessons on Launch. Current Mighty documentation also mentions course previews.

EzyCommunity includes 10 courses on Pro and unlimited courses on Business, with courses integrated into the wider community, membership, and payment model.

If courses are a major part of the business, the question becomes how naturally the course product connects to the rest of the business rather than whether either platform can make a course.

Winner: EzyCommunity — The course limits and broader course-to-community-to-monetization setup give EzyCommunity the edge.

4. Events, meetings & live sessions

Mighty supports online and in-person events, plus livestreaming and meetings, but capacity and usage vary by plan and can be expanded through additional usage options.

EzyCommunity lists unlimited events and unlimited meetings. Its Pro plan allows 50 meeting attendees for up to 1.5 hours and up to 500 livestream viewers for a 3-hour stream. Business plan raises those limits up to 200 attendees, 3 hours, 1000 livestream viewers, and 8-hour stream.

For event-led communities, the important issue is not just whether events exist. It is whether event usage becomes a plan limitation as the business grows.

Winner: EzyCommunity.

5. Monetization

Mighty supports paid memberships, payments, courses and paid access, but its platform transaction fee applies to each sale.

EzyCommunity supports memberships, paywalls, payments, courses and events, taking  0% of sales as a platform fee.

For a business owner, the difference is direct: platform fees reduce the amount of revenue retained as sales grow.

Winner: EzyCommunity.

6. Website and branding

Mighty includes a branded community website and landing-page capability, with more advanced branding options available at higher tiers. Its branded app route is Mighty Pro.

EzyCommunity includes a website builder, custom domain, and white-label branding in all plans. Its branded iOS/Android app is available as a paid add-on.

Winner: EzyCommunity — It gives buyers more website and white-label control earlier in the standard plan structure.

7. Marketing & email

Mighty can connect with external marketing tools and provides integrations on the relevant plans. Its ecosystem is useful for buyers who already have a marketing stack.

EzyCommunity includes built-in marketing-email capacity: 10,000 emails/month on Pro and 30,000 on Business.

That means a smaller business can keep more of its routine member communication inside one platform instead of assembling another tool just to send campaigns.

Winner: EzyCommunity.

8. Analytics, storage & engagement

Mighty provides engagement and analytics capabilities, plus 200 GB storage on Launch and higher storage on higher plans.

EzyCommunity gives 500 GB on Pro and 1 TB on Business, plus gamification, leaderboards, badges and levels.

I would evaluate this by actual content volume and engagement strategy rather than being biased by platform maturity.

Winner: EzyCommunity.

9. AI, Search and Discovery

Mighty now includes AI-related capabilities such as Mighty Co-Host and AI-assisted experiences, and its current product development puts more emphasis on AI.

EzyCommunity currently prioritises community, courses, events, gamification, and marketing rather than the same depth of AI search and discovery tooling. It does have a built-in AI agent that flags spammers and reports to moderators, with more AI features on the roadmap.

Winner: Mighty Networks.

10. Administration, Roles and Permissions

Mighty has Network Hosts, Network moderators, Space Hosts and Space moderators with predefined permissions.

EzyCommunity also has admins, moderators, course managers, hosts, custom roles, and supports membership as well.

The fair conclusion is that Mighty does have meaningful role management. EzyCommunity's advantage is its custom role management alongside memberships, website, marketing, and monetization.

Winner: EzyCommunity

11. Mobile app

Mighty provides free member apps on iOS and Android, while branded apps are available through Mighty Pro.

EzyCommunity offers a branded iOS and Android app as a paid add-on rather than including it in the base Pro or Business price. Also, the non-branded app is nearly on its way to going live.

Winner: Depends on what you want.

12. Customer Support & User Experience

Current user reviews show Mighty’s lacked human support, unavailability, difficult setup, limited customization, and interface concerns.

EzyCommunity advertises 24/7 human support and super fast onboarding. These are current product claims, but its long-term support track record is naturally less established because the product is newer.

So I would keep Mighty’s established support maturity ahead of EzyCommunity’s age. But I won’t write them off because the team is well proven for the EzyCourse platform.

Winner: Mighty Networks for proven track record.

Choose Mighty Networks If...

  • You value a mature, established community platform and its existing ecosystem.

  • Its current Launch, Scale, or Pro feature set already covers your business model.

  • You want strong community fundamentals such as spaces, messaging, courses, events, member roles, and mobile access.

  • You are comfortable with the platform transaction fee and plan-based capacity.

  • You already rely on integrations such as Kit, Zapier, Zoom, or other tools in the Mighty ecosystem.

  • You do not need a built-in website/marketing stack beyond what Mighty currently provides.

  • You are comfortable paying more for advanced automation, capacity, or branded apps when the business reaches that stage.

Choose EzyCommunity If You Want to...

  • Keep 0% of platform revenue fees while paying normal payment-processor charges.

  • Run unlimited events and meetings within the published plan limits.

  • Build your community around a website, custom domain, community, courses, events, memberships, and marketing tools.

  •  Use white-label branding without making a branded app the starting requirement.

  • Use built-in marketing-email capacity instead of assembling every communication layer separately.

  • Use a role-management model and member-management tools as the organization grows.

  • Connect courses, memberships, events, payments, engagement, and community in one operating environment.

  • Move toward a branded mobile app or, for agencies, a resold SaaS model.

Final Verdict

Mighty clearly has areas where it is stronger. It is more mature, has a deeper integration and developer story. Besides, it includes more AI capabilities.

That matters. A fair comparison should say so.

But the buyer's decision is broader than those individual strengths. I also need to consider what the platform costs when revenue grows and whether I can scale without adding more software or moving to higher tiers.

That is where EzyCommunity triumphs because a community business can scale without compromising its revenue model, brand control, and operating simplicity. Its current plans combine community, courses, events, meetings, website building, custom domains, white-label branding, email marketing, gamification, payments, and 0% transaction fees.

So my recommendation is not 'EzyCommunity has more features, therefore EzyCommunity wins.' My recommendation is that EzyCommunity gives the better overall combination of core community functionality, flexibility, monetization, branding, marketing, administration, engagement, and scalability for the broader community-business use case.
